Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! We are off to a great start! 4th graders collaborated this week and last week as we tuned into the Seisen Learner Profile. Groups of learners brainstormed the meaning of each profile word. They created examples of how their word applies to various learning experiences throughout the day.
Using communication skills, each partnership represented their learner profile word in drawings and words. These creative posters will be displayed in our classrooms for reference and reflection throughout the year.
In addition to tuning into the profile words, 4th graders revisited other elements of the PYP such as Attitudes, Concepts, and Skills. Our first unit of inquiry theme this year is Where We Are In Place and Time. Ask your daughter the title of our unit!
